YOGN 82

YOGN 82 was one of 22 unpowered B7 A2 barges built by Concrete Ship Constructors of National City, California and launched in 1944.

The YO stands for "Yard Oiler" while the G stands for "Gasoline" and the N signifies her lack of engines.

YOGN 82 was finally purchased by the Powell River Company and used as part of their breakwater.

Location

The YOGN 82 is still afloat as part of a breakwater on the Powell River in British Columbia, Canada.
